Here's a video I put together last year for The Christian Chronicle's Web site about the tornado that destroyed Greensburg, Kan. I hoped to return a year later to see the rebuilding progress, but I haven't had the time (or the gas money) to make the five-hour drive.
I don't know if many people got to see this collection of still photos and interviews last year, so I'm posting the YouTube version here.
Our prayers are with the people of Greensburg who lost family and friends in the storm. We're also praying for the victims of recent tornadoes that have claimed lives across the nation. Weather forecasters here in Oklahoma say this is the deadliest tornado season we've seen in 10 years.

Memorial Day weekend at Nana and Papa's house
We spent Memorial Day weekend in Altus visiting Jeanie's parents, Nana and Papa.
Here are a few random photos to start off:
Maggie has a cute smile for momma.
This is Maggie's preferred method of sleeping.
Stylin'
Saying hello to Nana.
We tried out a jogging stroller that Papa found to make a trip to Braum's.
Once we got to Braum's, Maggie was a little disappointed to find out that she couldn't have any ice cream.
I told her Papa would make it up to her by giving her $50.
Maggie got her first taste of rice cereal during the visit.
Reaction was mixed, at best.

Looking in the mirror (and showing off her Georgia bling)
Mommy claims she did this the night before this was taken, only she was smiling big and laughing at the baby in the mirror. The most I could get out of her this morning was a faint sense of recognition. This is one of the few frames where she's not looking at something off to the side.
Start 'em early! That's daddy's motto!
